My Khe Beachfront

The long beach road. Sunrise swims, lifeguard towers, and the seafood halls that sell by the kilo across the street. Best for families, first-timers, sunrise people. The catch: Everything is priced for the view, and the sea turns rough from September to December. Every My Khe Beachfront guide below is written in Da Nang and checked two ways: against the newest reviews written in Vietnamese by people who live here, and against the street itself. Hotels have to clear a guest score of 8.5 from at least a hundred reviews, with a review inside the last year, and survive a read of their last twenty complaints for the things that never appear in a listing: thin walls, construction, wifi that dies at nine, mosquitoes. Restaurants and cafes have to still be reviewed by residents, not only by visitors, and where a famous place has turned into a tourist queue we keep it and tell you when to go instead of pretending it has not. Prices are samples taken on a stated date rather than promises, and hotel links carry live dates so you land on a real price. Anything that closes or slips below the bar comes off at the monthly refresh. If a recommendation rests on review data rather than a night in the room, the guide says so.
